19-year old transgender artist earns $50 million selling NFTs
Victor Langlois is joining the list of highly successful NFT artists making six figures. The 19-year-old transgender artist has shared that he made earned $50 million in less than a year by selling his NFTs. Langlois was one of the artists whose work was sold at a Christie’s auction house in New York. His “Hello, I’m Victor” and “This Is My Life” collection, sold for $2.6 million, depicts his childhood and the journey of gender transition.

$370,000 worth of NFTs stolen in another BAYC hack
Bored Ape’s Yacht Club suffered another attack that led to 200 ETH (around $370,000) theft.
The hack left the Discord account of BAYC’s community manager, Boris Vagner, compromised. Through Varger’s account, the hacker posted phishing links in the official BAYC and Otherside’s Discord channels.
Our Discord servers were briefly exploited today. The team caught and addressed it quickly. About 200 ETH worth of NFTs appear to have been impacted. We are still investigating, but if you were impacted, email us at [email protected].

Yuga Labs, the BAYC developer, announced that one BAYC and two Mutant Apes, worth 200 ETH (or around $370,000 at press time) in total, were stolen.
Gordon Goner, a co-founder of Bored Apes, later criticized Discord’s security, saying it is not suitable for Web3 communities.

NFT game makes $72 million in online land sales
An NFT game Illuvium has successfully raised over $72 million selling digital land, according to the company’s announcement, selling 19,969 out of 20,000 plots.
Illuvium is an NFT monster-battle roleplaying game where players can acquire weapons and armor in the form of NFTs that will help them in the gameplay.
